Mid-Level Test Engineer

Description

Key Role:
Assist in network engineering and test and evaluation (T&E) activities for multiple network systems for a government client. Execute T&E processes associated with system interoperability leading to formal certification for or execution of dedicated Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E). Assist in the development of (T&E) documentation: Test Plans, Test Reports, Test Scripts, and Test Procedures. Need to be an expert with traffic analyzers/injection devices: Spirent or Ixia and some form of network collection/analyst tools.  This position is located in Camp Pendleton, CA.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
– Possess a high level expertise using traffic analyzers/injection devices preferred the following tools; Spirent (Avalanche) and/or Ixia (Chariot) and Network General SnifferR (NetScout InfiniStream Appliances) and/or Cascade Pilot.
– 4+ years of experience in Test Engineering
-Test Engineer with USMC/Navy network systems, strong networking experience
-Experience with technical writing
-Knowledge of Test Engineering principles and experience with implementing them into test-related activities
-Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree in an Engineering discipline, or equivalent experience

-Experience with DT&E

-Ability to translate information, develop insights, and work alongside clients at client sites
-Possession of excellent client service skills
