Alpha Ten Technologies, Inc. is looking for Engineers with aerospace experience.
- Fulfill leadership role in developing and managing the Hardware Development group of Landing Solution’s engineering department. Responsible for the design, development and validation of Brake Control Units. Allocate resources and keep track of all hardware engineering tasks and activities.
- Provide managerial direction and leadership to the Hardware function within the engineering department. Determine resources and processes needed to support the group. Plan, organize, control, and lead multiple projects for the design and development of Brake Control Units.
- Establish and oversee accomplishment of multiple project objectives. Provide direction and guidance to subordinates on project teams.
- Ensure standardization of products and processes across multiple projects.
- Anticipate and resolve major program obstacles to maintain overall program objectives.
- Internal and external customer satisfaction.
- Determine key goals and objectives for the group. Review and amend these actions as appropriate. Focus on the timely achievement of these goals and objectives.
- Fully support and implement fair employment practices in hiring, development and promotion of employees.
- Require compliance with procedures.
- Key Performance Indicators: Product Development Process Metrics as they relate to your group; Department Budget; Hardware development metrics.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering: Electrical, Electronics, Physics or related field.
- 10 years experience in the design and development of aerospace electronic control units.
- Thorough Knowledge of Hardware Development Processes including DO-254.
- Working knowledge of practical managerial techniques, leadership and financial management as well as all factors affecting business results.
